Venue History

Jameson Distillery Bow St. sits in the heart of Smithfield on the historic site where John Jameson established his distillery in 1780.

Today it is one of Dublin’s most distinctive visitor attractions and, after hours, transforms into an atmospheric private-event venue combining original distillery character with contemporary hospitality.

The venue is ideal for corporate functions, international groups, private celebrations, conference off-sites, networking events, launches and memorable evening experiences.

Private events can range from smaller group experiences to exclusive evening hire of the distillery.

The venue is particularly strong for events that are social, interactive and distinctly Irish. Whiskey tastings, cocktail experiences and the character of Bow St. can all become part of the guest journey rather than simply providing a backdrop.

Private evening events can accommodate approximately 50 to 250 guests depending on the chosen format.
