FIRE is renowned as one of the most popular restaurants in Dublin and the Round Room is the best option for conferences, exhibitions, banquets as well as Gala Dinners. History In 2005 we concluded a Public Private Partnership with Dublin City Council to take over the public rooms at the Mansion House, consisting of a restaurant and a function room. Our concept restaurant “FIRE”, which opened in September 2005 has become one of Dublin’s most popular restaurants. Similar success has been achieved at The Round Room, which has become Dublin’s premier location for Gala, Charity & Awards Dinners. We have renewed our partnership with DCC and currently have a joint planning application to improve the facility where we are sharing the cost of both planning, design and construction for the greater benefits of both parties.               Situated in a prime city centre location a minutes’ walk from St. Stephen’s Green in the heart of Dublin’s commercial centre, The Mansion House is nestled in the midst of the vibrant and well known Dawson St. Built in 1710 for Joshua Dawson after whom Dawson Street was named, The Mansion House was bought by Dublin Corporation in 1715 and became the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin. Steeped in history, The Mansion House was the scene where the first meeting of the Dail convened in 1919 followed by the adoption of the declaration of Independence. It also hosted the signing of the truce that ended Anglo-Irish hostilities in 1921. Following a public tendering process With Taste in partnership with Corporate Solutions Group were awarded a 5 year contract by Dublin City Council to operate the public rooms of the Mansion House.               THE ROUND ROOM The Round Room provides the perfect setting for gourmet dining, banquets, weddings, gala events, breakfast meetings, conferences and exhibitions, weddings. The round balcony overlooking the elegant setting of The Round Room is ideal for pre-dinner drinks or a welcome reception to any type of event. Here are just a few highlights: November 2011 On November 16th 2011, the annual 02 Spirit Awards took place here. On the 5th Of November 2011, the Round Room played host for the The Paul Stafford Ball. Over 400 guests enjoyed the gala dinner on Saturday the 5th of November. October 2011 Over 300 guests enjoyed the awards lunch held at the Mansion House for the Schwarzkopf Awards in October. On Thursday the 27th of October, Alchmey Events on behalf of the Lifestyle Awards will take place at the Round Room at the Mansion House. Over 450 guests are expected at this gala dinner. September 2011 Our wedding catering skills were in the spotlight this month as we catered for the wedding of TV3 presenter Alan Hughes & his partner, Karl Broderick.
