Enjoying a range of events from Receptions to Gala Dinners, November is another busy month for us here at With Taste.

Events | Presidents farewell reception at Áras.
On November 9th, the night before her departure, we had the honour of catering for the presidents farwell reception. Following a long association with former Uachtarán na hÉireann, Mary Mc Aleese, stretching back to her inauguration 14 years ago, to cater for this occasion was a big honour for everyone at With Taste.
Irish Rugby Farmers Gala Dinner in aid of Barretstown
The long association between Irish farming and International Rugby was celebrated at a Gala Dinner held in the Mansion House on November 11th. The event was attended by over 400 guests and organised by the Irish Farmers Journal, featured former Rugby Greats such as John Hayes, Gordon Wood - father of Keith Wood, Simon and Rory Best, Willie John McBride, Ronan Kearney, Willie Duggan, and Mick Molloy. Irish Rugby legend Moss Keane was also posthumously honoured.
All proceeds were donated to Barrettstown children’s charity. Barrettstown Castle is a Kildare-based camp uniquely designed for children who have been affected by a serious illness and their families.
Google International - Urban Style Party
“Hospitality Options” who are a company we formed in association with bar specialists Madigan Events are in charge of the huge gathering happening in November for Google International.
“Hospitality Options” was setup to specialise in and cater to all our major corporate catering events and gala dinners that With Taste are in charge of that are held in the RDS Concert Hall. For us and them it looks set to be busy with the themed event “Urban Style Party” for Google International. In this exciting corporate event, over 2,500 people from Google International look set to relax over good food and drink in the exclusive setting of the RDS for a fun themed night out.
Irish Book Awards
At the RDS Concert Hall, The Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards ceremony celebrated the largest-ever audience including world known authors, publishers, booksellers and media experts.
Ireland’s new President, Michael D Higgins, graced the evening as Guest of Honour and presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to well known global and fellow poet, Seamus Heaney.
The night also included a pre recorded video from former US President Bill Clinton who declared Heaney was one of his 'favourite poets'.
We were delighted to cater for and be part of the Irish Book Awards this year. Corporate event catering has long been our expertise and this event proved no different.
Congratulations to all the winners from the night.
The Paul Stafford Ball
November also saw us cater to the annual running of the Paul Stafford Ball, a gala dinner in aid of a good cause. Run by the Paul Stafford Foundation which was setup in 1997 to raise awareness of and address the serious nature of suicide in Ireland, the Paul Stafford Ball is a fundraising and socially aware event set to raise funds and above all help highlight this important subject to a large audience.
Now in its fifth running this gala dinner in aid of suicide prevention and awareness in Ireland was held on Saturday November the 5th at the Round Room at the Mansion House. Over 400 people were in attendance and all proceeds from this years event went to a very worthy charity in Reachout.com, an online resource focusing on a range of mental health issues for young people.
Spirit of O2 Awards 2011
On November 16th, our food service skills were put to the test yet again as we catered to the annual renewal of the Spirit of O2 Awards 2011. Taking in the relaxed and glamorous setting Round Room at the Mansion House, this event is designed to enable all O2 employees across the country to celebrate and reward the many outstanding achievements of their many peers.
This event is the biggest employee event in the O2 staff calendar and is designed as a way to highlight and celebrate in the achievements of its many employees. Now in its fourth year running, the Spirit of O2 Awards brings the whole O2 team together to celebrate the many outstanding achievements of O2 staff members across the country in the promotion and continued success of O2. With such categories as “inspiring leaders”, “retail superstore of the year” and “awesome team” to name just a few, “Spirit of O2” is the highlight of O2’s staff events calendar.
