We are in the final days of wrapping up the company and before finishing I wanted to write to thank you for your help and assistance in the catering requirements for our events in the RDS for the Pastoral Congress in August 2018.

The WMOF2018 project was complex and broad in its scope. We had requirements for volunteer training events, committee meetings, and other ad hock gatherings in the run-up to August 2018. The core element of our events was the World Meeting of Families 2018 Pastoral Congress which was held over 3 ½ days across the entire RDS Venue. Our attendance was over 34,000 people with 26% of them being under 18 years old and 11,000 were from overseas.

In all aspects of the planning Geraldine Lyons was knowledgeable and supported our events team with information and advice. Due to the nature of the event which was a one-off congress without any previous statistics to offer as a guide for planning, the delivery was challenging at times. The staff of With Taste worked professionally to deliver quality catering to the families who attended our event each day. Many of the attendees were onsite for 3 full days and so the requirement for variety, quality, good value and adult & children portions were required.

Following an open tender process, With Taste (Banqueting Food Systems Ltd.) has been the catering suppliers at the National Concert Hall since 2013. The contract was again awarded to With Taste in 2016 following the required re-tendering process.

With Taste operates a wide range of catering facilities and services to the National Concert Hall, including the Terrace Restaurant; informal catering facilities; a bar service at three locations and a back-stage artist restaurant. With Taste also caters on a daily basis for a wide range of the National Concert Hall’s internal and external clients, including Interval and post-concert receptions and corporate catering that ranges from breakfast meetings to formal dinners and gala events.
